Spring Hill Children's Center is Seeking Assistant Teachers

Spring Hill Children’s Center is seeking assistant teachers to join our team. Ideal candidates would have interest in, or knowledge of, Waldorf education and/or Nature-based education, or a willingness to explore and learn about them. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: working with and supporting the lead teacher in all aspects of classroom life and culture, being a joyful, caring presence for the children, and ensuring the day-to-day tasks of the classroom are completed.

Spring Hill Children’s Center is a new preschool and kindergarten initiative that will serve the children and families of the greater Monadnock region. Tucked into the hills surrounding Keene, NH, our beautiful campus offers a rich environment for children ages 3-6 to explore the natural world and all its wonders. We are a Waldorf-inspired and Nature-based program. We are seeking teachers and staff who will facilitate curricula based out of a deep respect and understanding of children’s social, emotional, physical, spiritual, intellectual, and cognitive development. Free play, meaningful work, story, song, rhythm, imagination, and connection to the natural world are central to the program. Through this rich variety of activities Spring Hill aims to nourish the whole child, allowing the development of deep trust in themselves, care for others, a wonder-filled connection to nature, and a love of learning.
